Avoid Being a Plagiarist: Do Not Delete Your Articles

People do not like thieves which include plagiarists. These individuals simply copy paste others work and by doing so, they also steal page views and hard earned cents from the original writer. Sadly, an online writer (at least, an honest one) can be a plagiarist without him knowing it.

I have a friend who was a writer at triond.com three years ago. She has already written a hundred articles when she decided to start all over again. She created an account at bukisa.com - another article writing site and began publishing under a new pen name. Over time, she considered transferring her Triond articles at Bukisa. However, to do this, she needed to delete her articles at Triond since she was already using a new name. All went well, until she received an ill comment about one of her content as a duplicate.

A Writing Experience with StoryMash

Who says creative writing is the easiest form of writing? Would you dare take the challenge?

I first heard of storymash.com through an article of a friend. Since I enjoy writing fiction stories, I had been eager to check out the site.

StoryMash unlike Triond only publishes creative writings - short fiction stories, novels, screenplays and new creative writing forms. On Plagiarism: Understanding Your Thief

In our biology, parasites are living things that feed on unsuspecting hosts, stealing nutrients and at the same time causing inconveniences. When ignored these parasites can create great damage and may cause death. In the writing world, parasites are also referred to plagiarists. These are people who copy articles, claiming them as their own.

Some styles of plagiarism are as follows:

• Copying the whole article with the name of the plagiarist instead of the original writer

• Copying the whole article and the name of the original writer without any back links

• Impersonating the writer – stealing his articles along with his name

Triond Is Still Better Than Wikinut

At least for me.

A good Stumbleupon friend of mine and a moderator at Wikinut finally convinced me to join the site last month.  Wikinut is almost the same as Triond and more importantly, it has the creative writing category. Although Wikinut has the same plain blue design in all category sites, a user can make his article page more attractive by adding pictures.

Wikinut does not return articles, but they publish content that had been published in other sites as long as it is owned by the same writer.  I have managed to edit 16 of my articles from Triond and Factoidz and published them here. I also wrote two original works for Wikinut. I joined the community and so far, had 42 followers.

I have made friends with some people- Songbird and Denise, two charming ladies; Buzz, a friendly kababayan’; and geeta auroa, a sweet young friend. Minister Marlene is there too. These writers among the others were very friendly and helpful to me.

Unfortunately, after doing all the promotions and posting quality articles and studying my stats/ earnings, I found out that Wikinut pays so little.

I did some Math with Triond in comparison to Wikinut and was finally convinced that Wikinut won’t work for me.
