In our biology, parasites are living things that feed on unsuspecting hosts, stealing nutrients and at the same time causing inconveniences. When ignored these parasites can create great damage and may cause death. In the writing world, parasites are also referred to plagiarists. These are people who copy articles, claiming them as their own.
Some styles of plagiarism are as follows:
- Copying the whole article with the name of the plagiarist instead of the original writer
- Copying the whole article and the name of the original writer without any back links
- Impersonating the writer – stealing his articles along with his name
